We’ve all been there—it’s a friend’s birthday or you have a group of pals coming in to town for a bachelorette or bachelor party (or even a wedding), and all of a sudden you’re stumped as to what restaurants can accommodate the entire squad.  Here’s a list of my go-tos, don’t forget to make arrangements/reservations way ahead of time to avoid any issues!

To make the group dining experience more convenient, there are many charter bus or minibus rentals in Austin that can shuttle you and your crew to your destination.  This is the perfect option so you have a designated driver, and so that everyone to arrive at the same time, as some of these restaurants won’t seat incomplete parties 😉

Uchiko

One of my favorite restaurant groups in Austin, Uchiko has a fantastic private room Inspired by the aesthetic of a Japanese farmhouse that is perfect for group dining.  The Hai hospitality restaurants typically don’t seat incomplete parties, so make sure you all arrive at the same time. Designed to accommodate a maximum 34 dining or 45 cocktail guests, the warmly lit room can also be divided into two smaller rooms holding 14 guests each. Grizzeldas

this is the perfect place for a Girls’ Night Out, complete with deliciously boozy pink margaritas and the cutest decor. Don’t forget to pair that with deliciously gooey queso, refreshing guacamole, chips & salsa, and a good ceviche to get the night started. For reservations for parties of 18 or more, or for questions about large parties and private events, please contact our Events Manager through this form https://grizzeldas.com/events/

Kemuri Tatsuya

This place is a casual neighborhood izakaya & bar serving meat-centric shareable plates with a Japanese & Texan twist. They also have some fun and shareable cocktails, and is a great place to go before hitting the town. For information on booking parties of 8 or more guests, catering or private events, contact Elizabeth at: [email protected]

Lenoir

I love Lenoir because of it’s vintage-chic decor and innovative cuisine with Mediterranean & Indian accents.  The restaurant is set in a bungalow with a wonderful wine garden in the back. They have a long table in their dining room that’s perfect for groups, or if you want a more intimate experience rent the space next door that holds up to 30 guests.  For more information, or to book your party, contact their events coordinator, Shellie Hayes-McMahon at [email protected]
